Best Steak Restaurants in Westport Rd - Lyndon

We always enjoy dining at Malones. The food and service are always excellent . Albeit, it was Valentine’s Day. We made the reservation about a month in advance, noting it was a 66th anniversary. We ended up with a table by a very busy door, making it difficult for our parents to hear. I had never been seated in the very back by a busy door. Moving forward, I know what to request in seating when making a reservation.

First time dining…was an excellent experience! Grace provided wonderful, friendly service with a warm smile. Food was delicious! We enjoyed the Ribeye and the NY Strip. The Mac n cheese was good and the Asiago spinach was great! Even the salad was very good…crisp with bacon, egg, etc. The chocolate mousse cake was good but the strawberry shortcake and ice cream was delicious! Thank you Grace and crew for a wonderful experience!

Food is always awesome! And the service is the best! But we had Kayto take care of us as we celebrated Valentine’s Day early. She was very sweet and timed everything perfect.

Our first visit was 2/12/2025 - the Westport Village location. My wife and I celebrated Valentines 2 days early. Atmosphere: Intimate and classy. Some complained it was too dark and it absolutely was not. The music was at the perfect level where you could hear it but not overpowering. I wear hearing aids, so I am very sensitive to loud. Food: In the order served: The rolls were buttery and flakey like a croissant and were excellent. The beef tallow candle amongst the rolls was an unexpected and awesome touch. The wedge salad had candied bacon on it, roasted cherry tomatoes and the perfect amount of bleu cheese dressing, another home run. The steaks we ordered were the 7oz. filet. Mine was thick, seasoned perfectly and cooked to my liking which is medium rare. My wife is a well-done weirdo and hers was cooked as she prefers, but still tender and juicy. I had the maple syrup carrots as the side. They had crumbles on top of the them, cut length wise and cooked perfectly. My wife had the baked potato which was HUGE and cooked perfectly. Overall, this was one of the best meals I have EVER had! Service: Outstanding, we tipped 20%. Pricing: Comparable to Stoney River, Jeff Ruby's and the higher end steak places. But Steak & Bourbon is simply a cut above. This will be our special occasion place without question! Thank you all at Westport Village!

Mesh is “the” regular lunch spot for a group of friends. Three of us tried the special - butternut squash risotto with blackened shrimp and scallops. Delicious - I would definitely order again - although three others had my favorite - the short rib grilled cheese, which should not be missed at lunch. Jacob was an outstanding server - Very personable, witty and attentive, not to mention patient with a large group of ladies. See you next month!
