Best Steak Restaurants in Washington

Ate here after the inauguration and can’t very busy because all of the roads were shut down. Food was great. Tried the Dover sole at the recommendation of the waiter and it was excellent. Baked Alaska for dessert was awesome.

Rare Steakhouse is a new favorite as a visiting first timer. The Lobster Bisque, Maryland Crab cakes, and wet-aged Filet were delicious.

Jennifer at the bar is a ROCK STAR- she embodies what it feels like to go out and have a sip before dinner. Great personality, professional and friendly. MOD-was at the tip top of his game. As we know the city is bustling this week/weekend. I am not a senator or an elected official however, he made a point to come by my table to welcome me back!! Emily and Wendy- outstanding Servers with the service to match. I love it here!

My experience at Ruth Chris was absolutely amazing. After we got seated, it took almost 45 minutes to put our order in due to how busy it was at the time. We were celebrating our birthdays so we became a bit frustrated but our server Evelyn made it right! She was extremely apologetic though it was something out of her control, super kind and professional. Ended up giving us our first round of drinks on the house along with a glass of Prosecco. She then provided us with shots for our birthday and offered to take our pictures which she excelled at as well. The food was 10/10. I got the stuffed chicken, Mac& cheese and creamed spinach! Soooo good! Will be back!

The only thing that turned me off was that every table around me were greeted by a server or performers. We had to ask for someone to come and explain to us how to order and what would make our first visit more enjoyable. Now that I’ve “experienced” the restaurant, I will know what to do and not waste 45 minutes trying to figure out how to order and not miss more performances. Since time was limited to two hours, I was worried that we would not have enough time to eat or drink. After placing an order we waited an additional 30+ minutes for our first drink to arrive then our food. Wasn’t sure if we had enough time to order a second drink, which we did but had to drink it fast as our two hour dining experience was over.
