Best Steak Restaurants in South Granville

Thomas: our server was an absolute delight and provided the best experience and service we have ever had at Keg, my only comment is that, as a loyal keg customers and speak very highly of this institution, since I had shared that this was a birthday celebration and how we have been coming to Keg for past 20 years in my “ send the message “ during my reservation on open table and actually no one responded ( the manager on duty ) should have to the table and wished my hubby and maybe sent a flute of beverage to cheers the birthday

Wonderful food. Two of us had the lobster, which was perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. My husband had the New York, medium rare, and he said it too was perfectly cooked. Our server was lovely. There, when we wanted her to be, but not overly so. We would definitely go back.

I have only eaten steak here which has been fabulous and this time I went for seafood in the form of Garlic Shrimp and Fresh Oysters. The Garlic Shrimp were quite large and very filling especially if you order sides (I ordered Field Mushrooms and Asparagus). The sauce was buttery and perfectly garlicky and one thing I should have done which I will do for next time is save some of the Cheese Toast to soak up the rest of the sauce because they were very generous with it! Or get a side of potatoes to enjoy the sauce with! I was here on my own and my server John was attentive in just the right amounts and provided the perfect amount of small talk while leaving me to read my book. While I usually come here with my husband, I would definitely come back to Gotham for another solo date as everyone in the restaurant from the hostess to server made me feel at ease. Everyone was so intuitive and the hospitality level is like no other. Thank you for a wonderful night!

Open later on Christmas eve and was pleased to be able to make a reservation within 20 minutes of the time I started looking. Was seated 10 minutes earlier than my scheduled reservation time and once we placed our order the food was delivered quickly, despite being very busy in there. Overall great experience.

Hys is always a fantastic meal. The cheesebread is so addictive. Open flame steak gives a perfect char. What made this night was the service. Our server was Andrew and he was amazing. Not just a great server, his recommendations for drinks/food were perfect. I've been to Hys a bunch of times but Andrew made this special.
