    Our server was very tolerant of a difficult family situation that came up while we were at the table. Unfortunately, due to a delay, my fish was overcooked, but I do not blame the kitchen for that. It was a consequence of the complexity of our situation. As I say, our server was extremely helpful and patient with us and I give her the highest marks for helping us get through our challenges. I look forward to the next time at the cannery.

    If I could give more than five stars to ocean 48 I absolutely would. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. Service was extraordinary from being greeted at the front door to the host stand to the servers who waited on us. We were seated in a private Booth overlooking the kitchen. So fun! For appetizers, we got the hanging bacon, which was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted and the heirloom tomato and crab salad, which was delicious. Steaks were cooked to perfection and their whipped potatoes are creamy and delicious. And let’s not forget the amazing desserts. We had the peanut butter pie and the Keylime pie, and both were truly wonderful. And last, but not least the drinks,. We had cocktails and wine all in all this was a 10 star meal and we can’t wait to go back.
