- MMariSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined todayI'd long wanted to dine at Musso & Frank Grill and finally had my chance tonight. It's an L.A. classic that's turned out elegant comfort food and delectable martinis for 105 years. My husband and I were not disappointed: the restaurant's storied history, ambience, food, and service all combined to make a memorable dining experience. We started with cocktails (a St. George Terroir martini for me, a Fern Dell for him), the baked escargot, and the wedge salad — all delicious (I especially enjoyed the house-made bleu cheese dressing that came with the salad). For our mains, my husband ordered the Saturday special: Braised Short Ribs of Beef with vegetables (diced carrots — too many, he thought — and peas) and mashed potatoes. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender and so flavorful! I had the NY Strip, cooked medium rare, and it was perfectly prepared. We shared the baby broccolini, which was grilled and had a wonderful char. Our waiter Leonardo brought us a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a candle, as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. Service was thoughtful, courteous, and efficient. We had a delightful experience and look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Musso & Frank!More infoMusso & Frank GrillPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Hollywood•4.8
- SSandraLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe food was outstanding! We had the burrata & portabella mushroom for appetizers; chicken, two steaks that we shared with spinach and fries on the side for the main dish; and two desserts. Every single one was amazing. Especially the meat. Max found us the perfect wine to pair with our food, including the port for after. Herbert provided the best service. He was personable, kind and attentive. Maya was a sweet and professional hostess. The chef, Gerard, came by and was wonderful. Even the valet were so nice. It was an overall phenomenal night and experience. Worth the money by far.More infoCarlitos Gardel Argentine SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Beverly / Fairfax / La Brea / Third St.•4.9

- DDanPhiladelphia County •4 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Mastro’s offers an upscale dining experience that’s perfect for steak lovers. The ambiance is elegant and inviting, with attentive, knowledgeable staff. The dry-aged ribeye was cooked to perfection, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a beautifully caramelized crust. Side dishes like the garlic truffle cauliflower and scalloped potatoes are a must. Five stars!More infoMastro's Steakhouse - Beverly HillsPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Beverly Hills•4.6
- AandreaVIPLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined on 17 Dec 2024Everything was exceptional—the food and service were top-notch. However, I ordered the flat iron steak and, unfortunately, I wasn’t a fan and won't be ordering it again. It had a strange flavor, almost like it was marinated in wine or something that didn’t sit well with me. I still ate it for two reasons: I was with my team and didn’t want to make a fuss. But I couldn’t quite place that flavor—no amount of salt could mask it. That said, everything else was fantastic. The calamari was perfectly fried and seasoned. The cheese bread—delicious! And my wedge salad? Wow, you guys loaded it up, and I truly appreciated that! Just the steak I couldn’t finish. Thank you, and happy holidays!More infoThe Ramp Restaurant & BarPrice: Moderate• Italian• North Hollywood•4.7
