Wanted a great meaty restaurant to take my vegetable hating husband to on his birthday. Someone at work had recommended Blacklock so I booked it. We’ve been to Hawksmoor a few times and loved it, so our expectations were high and it did not disappoint. Staff were amazing from the moment we arrived. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Attentive to exactly the right level. Food was sensational. We had the Prime Rib (700g) and a bacon chop, plus fries. So good. Deserts were also lovely- bread and butter pudding and 698142 cheese cake both fabulous. We then had a tipple at the bar on the way out. All excellent and very reasonably priced.
