    We had a wonderful Christmas dinner! We decided to split a bunch of apps and everything was DELICIOUS! Favorites were the crawfish bread and crab spinach dip. Our waitress was so nice and made the whole experience for us! We were on the second floor with a gorgeous view of the Mississippi River & with a giant Christmas tree sparkling beautifully out from the other window! Highly Recommend!

    We had a great dinner last night. We seem to always get sat in the outdoor extension. Would be nice to be in the main dining area. Steaks were delicious, tuna app was awesome. Service was good. Manager didn’t make anyone feel welcome. As we were leaving not one person said thank you or good bye including the main manager. I had to say Merry Christmas before anyone acknowledged us leaving the restaurant. Prices are extremely high!! Lots of other great options in the City for steaks and seafood that will save you lots of money!! $450 including tip for 3 people.

    Mr. John's has a genius in the kitchen—the recipes and the food are brilliant, exciting and delicious. The joint is very pricey but worth every nickel. Amazingly, even when crowded the service is very prompt, not a whole lot of waiting for anything that has been ordered. The whole operation seems to be the result of an underlying rigidly systematic and intelligent organization. The only problem with the joint is noise—there is so much loud talk among the customers that one can barely hear oneself speak much less what others at one's own table are saying, which is of course not Mr. John's fault. If you absolutely must have a good meal, go there. You won't be disappointed. Everything on the menu is great.
