Best Steak Restaurants in Downtown Charleston

Food was ok at best. Not what I would expect from a prime steak. Overpriced wine list. Excellent sides.

Very enjoyable meal and great location to have dinner just before a show at the Charleston Music Hall. Prime Rib was amazing along with Stuffed mushroom appetizer and Raspberry Limoncello cake. Service was perfect. We'll be back !!!!

She crab soup was wonderful! Bread pudding was delicious.

Exceptional restaurant. Best on the Penninsula. Over 20 years we have tried them all. Forget the stuffy go to's. Head to Burwell's. Ask for Michael. Best server around. Takes pride in his profession. He will make your night special. The owner is always on scene. He will stop by your table for sure. Burwell's goal is to make sure you have the best possible meal for the best possible price. Great vibe. Excellent happy hour. Creative meals and desserts. What are you waiting for, make a reservation.

My husband and I had a lovely dinner on a Friday evening. We were a few minutes early but were seated right away. Nice wine menu, with plenty of options. Server appeared disappointed that we only ordered appetizers (I am unable to eat a full entree) but otherwise, it was a very nice evening. We ended the night with a quick stop at the rooftop bar for a night cap. Highly recommend!
