Best Steak Restaurants in Chestnut Hill

Our server John was so incredibly helpful professional respectful and added to the amazing dinner that shockingly every last bite was consumed in the belly!!!!!!!Its still so goo after all these years. Just hated no more valet parking !!!!

The food was amazing and our server, Amer, was outstanding! As steakhouses go this was definitely one of the better ones we’ve enjoyed. Portion sizes for appetizers was great for sharing. We had several including the crispy shrimp, braised pork belly, calamari, chicken fried lobster, and meatballs. All were really yummy - the meatballs were probably the best I’ve ever had. Although Amer told us the salads were individually portioned, the Caesar salad was huge (plenty to share) and the beet salad could easily serve 2 or 3. Our steaks and my pork chops were cooked perfectly. Steak 48 will definitely be in the dining out rotation going forward.

This year I hosted a large group at Redstone for Thanksgiving dinner, who were offering a fixed price dinner and their description of what would be included was only a "teaser" for the bountiful spread that they provided! Light salads, shrimp, wings, the BEST chicken tender I've ever eaten, bbq ribs, and popcorn shrimp were just the starters - before digging into the main events - lovely, moist turkey, sliced tenderloin, salmon, along with stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, au gratin potatoes, asparagus, root veggies, to name the ones I remember! The service was outstanding! Our server, Psalm, was so attentive and lovely that it felt like being home for the holiday! Despite her having a whole room to serve she never seemed to be too busy to attend to your needs, and always did so with a smile! As a lifelong Philly couple, it was our first time at Barclay Prime. Nice experience as our version of Thanksgiving dinner (our 3 kids are all out of town this year). Food was well prepared and, of course, the filet mignon was superb. The price point is a tad out of our reach for us on a normal dining out date (we had a gift certificate) and Barclay Prime is definitely a special occasion venue. Probably will not return (unless another gift certificate is in the offing!) but we did have a lovely evening. Thank you!

Our dinner was fabulous! I don’t think you could eat better lobster tails anywhere! Also, our waitress Michelle was so pleasant and friendly. We really liked her!
