I've been to many steakhouses over the years, multiple times; Ruth's Chris, Morton's, Smith & Wollensky's, Shula's, The Palm, Arthur's (if you didn't spend time in Jersey, you won't know), McCormick and Schmick's, Annie's Paramount (a special DC place), Fleming's, The Capital Grille, Voltaglio Brother's, Sam & Harry's, Delmonico's, etc. This was, by far, the best steakhouse I've ever been to. My wife started with the calamari and I had the oysters with caviar. Then, she had the salmon and I had the bourbon rib eye. I also ordered truffle fries and creamed spinach. Then, for desert, a peanut butter and chocolate plate of decadence (and cream brulé for my birthday) along with some champagne. Oh, and I had a manhattan that was easily the best I've ever had. Francesco provided us the most incredible service I've ever experienced eating out anywhere. We will not hesitate to go back there, though my wife requested we wait six months so as not to overdo it (though, I'm thinking, every four months?). There's only about 12 of them in the entire country. I highly recommend going there if there's one near you.More infoEddie Merlot's Prime Aged Beef & Seafood - AshburnPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Ashburn•4.6

We tried the calamari, 8 oz filet, ribeye and the Brussels sprouts, lobster mash potatoes, and lobster Mac and cheese. - MMariaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •38 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024We decided to celebrate Christmas Eve with our friends, out to a lovely restaurant, and we are so happy that we chose Ruth's Chris Steak House. We were greeted (along with all of the other diners) by a festive front entrance & immediately I knew we made the right choice. The bar was busy but fun and we had delicious wine while waiting less than 10 minutes for our table (but we were 20 minutes early). We had multiple servers and the manager greet and wait on us. We felt very well taken care of from the Staff. The food was just as I expected, AMAZING! We had everything from Filet Mignon to Sea Bass to Crab Cakes to the wonderful sides of Creamed Spinach, Sweet Potato Casserole and Au Gratin Potatoes. Everything was excellent! We had a few bottles of the Quilt Cabernet, and it was very reasonably priced and delicious! The atmosphere was energetic and we felt good being in this beautiful setting on Christmas Eve. All in all, a fantastic time! Highly recommend this restaurant for being consistently great; this is on the heels of having not so great an experience the week before at Eddie V's. I will not go back there for quite some time.More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - FairfaxPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Fairfax•4.7

We decided to try Ruth Chris in Tyson's, best decision we've made. The ambiance is wonderful and everyone is so kind and attentive. We went last night and as always everything was perfect. I got the Ruth's Classic Steak and Lobster and it was absolutely wonderful. My friend had the crab cakes and she said they were great. I'm thinking we're going to have to go back before Christmas next year😉More infoRuth's Chris Steak House - Tyson's CornerPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Tysons Corner / McLean•4.6
