Best Steak Restaurants in Ancaster

We made a reservation for the table beside the fireplace In The bar for ambience and because it is tradition. I made the reservation over a month in advance and when we got there the entire restaurant was almost completely empty and when the waitress went to seat us, there was a computer on the table we requested. She said just a second and went and checked why. Turns out the manager decided to use that table to do work. They offered for us to sit next to it, but we declined because I don’t feel like eating a $300 dinner sitting beside someone who’s doing work on a computer. We ended up taking a booth off to the side. I’m a creature of habit and that is why I requested that exact table months in advance. It was disappointing and threw off the entire night. Food was amazing and our waitress was very good and she got a big tip.

My experience at Prime left me wanting more. The hospitality that we were shown was over the top. The team at Prime are a well oiled machine. I was blown away by our server Daniel. He was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was spectacular. Special shout out to the lobster spaghetti! We had a last minute addition to our reservation and Prime was able to accommodate our party from 8 people to 9 by moving us into the private dining room, "The Cottage". This room was really neat. We were able to observe some of the food prep and behind the scenes camaraderie in the kitchen. Matty Matheson has created an absolute masterpiece at Prime. Thank you for hosting us.

Victoria's is a must visit for anyone who values world class service and a gourmet dining experience. The menu is constently evolving and always delicious. Chefs at Victoria's are meticulous and creative with everything they put out. Service is oustanding and Lois is always the perfect combination of charming and professional in every way! Date night, special occassions, business meetings, there's no reason not to experience Victoria's for yourselves.

Our dinner was recommended by our server which was a great experience. We had things for dinner that we had not had before. It is very pricey however if you are looking for something exceptional for a very special occasion, this is the place.
