    We had an excellent dinner out on Christmas Eve at Solea. The food was excellent and our wait person (Parag) was super attentive, friendly, and pleasant. Highly recommended.

    Our family tradition on Christmas Eve is dinner and a movie. This year our go-to restaurant closed and we made a last minute reservation for Matadora. Since it was Christmas Eve The restaurant was fairly quiet. Service was prompt and attentive. The drinks were excellent but a bit pricey. We ordered several tapas dishes and 1 person ordered steak. The steak was very good but the fries were more wimpy than crispy. Tapas was good. Would definitely be a fun place to go with a crowd.

    Had a wonderful experience - from being welcomed and seated promptly. The server was really nice and was able to get me a modified dish even though it was not on the menu. Paying the bill was also without any fuss. Great find- would return again!

    This is an awesome find in Newton. Excellent food, very friendly service and a nice ambiance. Every dish, duck pate, tuna tartare, pasta with special bolognese sauce and steak was perfectly prepared, sides and salad were outstanding.
