Best Southwest American Restaurants in South Mountain

Great patio seating and the service was very good. There were some very noisy college football fans who were a bit obnoxious—overly loud. Not the fault of Richardsons. Great place to have dinner with friends.

Very lovely dinner last night. We had the tasting menu with the wine pairing. Interesting and creative flavor combinations. The tuna was amazing as was the steak. The staff was extremely friendly,attentive, and knowledgeable. Only downside we saw was the ambient noise level was quite high. 

Extraodrinary from start to finish. From the moment we were greeted until we got in our car, everything was perfection. The service was unobtruisvely top-notch. The food was delicious. The preparation and presentation were unique. The room and ambiance was relaxing. There are even some surprises along the way, but I don't want to be a spoiler.

Visiting from Calgary, Alberta this was our first time at Rita’s and our evening was absolutely magical. The service was amazing, food was outstanding and the live musician was incredible. We will definitely have this on our “must to go” list for future visits.

Terra Tempe’s service as usual was extremely good and the staff was very courteous and friendly. I have been there consistently since their doors open, I was disappointed in the Mexican Prawns this years. I frequently order them but this time they dumped so maany hot pepper flakes into the dish that not only I but every one at our table had a hard time eating; way to spicy. Many of the dishes have been high quality and we love them but someone got carried away with the heat. The chicken sandwich was excellent and the chicken and dumplings was poor. This was a new menu just started a couple days prior to our arrival. I know they have the abilities to prepare much better food than we received on this night.
