Best Southern American Restaurants in Upperville

Super Noisy! The excited voices of friends and family connecting with one another at other tables during the holidays, on top of relatively loud house music, made it difficult to hear our soft-spoken waiter. The salad greens in the Caesar were a bit chewy, but the fried shrimp I added was a generous portion and well seasoned with just a touch of heat in the batter. Gumbo was excellent and very traditional based on my experience living in Louisiana! Easy parking in the shopping center lot.

This was my first visit here and I chose it because of its gluten free options, which they had more than average. Everything we ordered was delicious. The fire shrimp appetizer, the lobster bisque, the lamb chops, the crab cakes, the potatoes au gratin, and the star, the flourless chocolate cake. I didn’t have high expectations but was pleasantly blown away and I can’t wait to come back here the next time I am in town. The service was a little spotty and slow but like I said, I’ll be back and can’t wait to try more gf items! What a gem in the middle of Fairfax!

Always love this restaurant, but it’s usually hard to get into. Luckily I made reservations well in advance. The ambience was lovely. The food was well priced and delicious. They were very busy so the service was a little slow. I would definitely go back.

This place NEVER disappoints! Crab dip is always immaculate! The burger is to die for and the truffle pasta is still on my mind hours after leaving! Will always highly recommend this place.
