Being a former brewery, the ambiance is unique, making it a perfect spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The food is delicious, with standout dishes like their seafood and Southern-inspired offerings, perfectly complemented by a diverse drink menu. The snapper throats, although kinda weird looking, were incredible. Mary, our server, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable meal. Thanks so much Mary! Highly recommend!More infoSoutherleigh Fine Food & BreweryPrice: Moderate• Southern• Downtown•4.8
- AAndieAustin •31 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMy family and I had a belated Valentines family dinner at Colleen’s kitchen. This is a special occasion favorite with my family and our visit this time reinforced that opinion. We arrived in time to enjoy the happy hour which I believe is every day. We ordered drinks off the happy hour menu as well as their delicious deviled eggs, skillet, cornbread, and the brussels sprouts. Although we all ordered different dishes, everybody ended up with some of their wonderfully delicious grits. The family ordered shrimp and grits, fried chicken with a side of grits, the seared scallops which comes with grits, and one of the breakfast biscuits with a side of grits. All of the food was very well prepared, and everyone seemed to enjoyed it. Since I ate some of the appetizers, I took home part of my breakfast biscuit and grits, and have to say that they were wonderful as leftovers as well. The only disappointment on this visit was that even though we arrived early in the evening, they were already out of the lemon meringue pie. Although the noise level can be a little loud sometimes this is a very charming restaurant with wonderful service and an absolutely delicious menu.More infoColleen's KitchenPrice: Moderate• Southern• Central Austin•4.8
- SSai MounikaSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was the best upscale restaurant in Austin that we tried so far. The ambiance, the service and of course the food were top notch. We started with deviled eggs and house made biscuits. The biscuits, oh my god felt like they came straight from the heaven. The pot pie, salmon and halibut were all excellent. Our waitress was super sweet and efficient. Would definitely come back here.More infoFixePrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•4.8
