- IIrisVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoShirley's is the best thing that has happened in Old Towne Petersburg in a very long time. The food is superb, the service is wonderful and I cannot wait to go back. I have been there for lunch twice and I highly recommend the tomato bisque that comes with a delicious mini cornbread and the new "composed salad" is outstanding, especially with the southern buttermilk dressing. Desserts are unique and so tasty. My favorite part of the meal each time was that I had coffee with warm cream. I have never had that at a restaurant before. Service is outstanding and atmosphere is so nice. I highly recommend Shirley's for lunch. I love it!More infoShirley’sPrice: Moderate• American• Petersburg•4.9
- BBrendaVirginia •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoFood seasoned to perfection! Ambience is fantastic. Please please notate the “Gluten Free” options clearly on the menu and train your servers and cooks on this topic. For Celiac disease persons , Gluten Free is A Must Have, not a fad. Consider an option to fry the fish, seafood or chicken in a separate dedicated fryer using Gluten Free FLOUR “ with advance notification of this special request 🤔. This would elevate Southern Kitchen to the top of restaurant choices.More infoSouthern KitchenPrice: Expensive• Southern• Richmond•4.2
- AAmritaWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews4.0Dined 7 days agoPrivate Party event in the lobby, made it very crowded and loud. The inside of the restaurant was quieter. Service was good, a little slow with the dinner rush and crowd. But very friendly. Lobster roll was delish, lots of lobster meat. However lost points for the butternut squash fettuccine. It was bland, no taste, dry, not enough sauce for the noodles. Do not recommend. We loved the crab dip for appetizer and the lobster roll. Ambiance was full of holiday magic!More infoTJ's at the Jefferson HotelPrice: Moderate• American• Richmond•3.9
- SSusanBaltimore / Maryland •4 reviews4.0Dined on 5 Sept 2024Service was great. Loved the "porch" area. I was disappointed that the breakfast potatoes weren't gluten free. They are listed as such on the menu, but they are fried in a shared fryer, so they are not gluten free. I ordered the grits instead, which tasted really weird. I couldn't pinpoint the spice they used. Just stick with salt and butter.More infoWestham Tavern and PorchPrice: Moderate• American• Richmond•4.2
