Although the chicken is crispy and delicious, I highly recommend the Seafood Cajun Diavalo. It was fantastic!More infoHen Quarter PrimePrice: Expensive• Southern• Washington•4.4
- DDiannaWashington, D.C. Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI made a reservation for me and my close friends (we served in the military together) and our spouses. We have been best friends for 30 years. So, getting together is a treasurable experience for us. Upon our arrival, I met with the hostess and she was exceptionally kind, caring, and supportive of our group and found us the perfect spot to enjoy our evening together. Fredy came right over to our table and introduced himself as our server. He took excellent care of us! He was attentive, informative, understanding, kind, fun, caring, and enjoyable to talk to. It was a busy Saturday evening, but we could not tell because Fredy made time to check on us and refilled our drinks regularly. I was so appreciative of Fredy's hospitality, I informed the owner. He will be our requested server from now on. We ordered drinks and appetizers of Ma Brown's Biscuits, Deviled Eggs, and Fried Calamari. We ordered dinners of Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Pork Chop, Roasted Chicken, Jerked Catfish, and Seafood Penne. Everything arrived timely and delicious. I had the Roasted Chicken and I enjoyed it! It was moist, seasoned well, and flavorful. All members of our party enjoyed their dishes. Valet parking was convenient and valet staff was friendly. The setting was perfect for our gathering and a positively, memorable one. It was elegant, classy, and charming. Georgia Brown's is at the top of our list of favorite places to visit, personally for my husband and I, as well as our best friend group. Thank you for making our experience so wonderful!More infoGeorgia Brown'sPrice: Expensive• Low Country• Downtown•4.4

My bartender was friendly and attentive. I sat at the bar so I was a bit chilly because of the door but I have no complaints. I can say I will be back.More infoKitchen + Kocktails by Kevin Kelley - DCPrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•4.2
- RRhonaVIPChicago / Illinois •65 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI am gluten free for medical reasons. There were several items I could enjoy on the menu and the fried entrees were prepared in dedicated fryers. That said, the food was delicious! Service was extremely attentive and the manager stopped over twice to make sure my meal was enjoyable.More infoYardbird Table & Bar - Washington D.C.Price: Expensive• Contemporary Southern• McPherson Square•4.5
- LLindaMississippi •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe did the Taste of the South family style dinner experience. Which is funny being we are southerners in DC for a wedding. But had to see if the menu met southern standards. ;) Not only a great value but also a tasty sampling of Succotash’s popular items. Fried green tomato salad, smoked chicken wings, sweet cornbread, collard greens, smashed potatoes, deviled eggs, shrimp and grits, ribeye, chicken and waffles, hummingbird cake balls, chocolate pecan tarts. I was concerned about portion size since my sons and husband are healthy eaters. :). No worries. No one left hungry. All delicious though my husband likes my deviled eggs better. The cocktails were excellent also. I forget our server’s name but she was also top notch. Would highly recommend and will return.More infoSuccotash PRIMEPrice: Moderate• American• Penn Quarter•4.6
