- TTheavipNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe restaurant has expanded and has significant new seating available. The decor is wonderful and very inviting. The food was excellent. We shared the paella and it was more than adequate portions for both of us.More infoVilla Peru Modern Peruvian CuisinePrice: Expensive• Latin American• Midtown•4.7
- MMarshallPhoenix / Arizona •7 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe recently moved to Tucson (like a week ago) and rather than try to cook a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving, we opted for making reservations. The reviews for Sullivan’s were good, so we made a reservation for late afternoon (3:30 pm). We had a cocktail in the bar before dinner (very well stocked and friendly staff) and selected the Thanksgiving holiday meal. The appetizer course came quickly and after twenty minutes or so a food runner brought our dessert. The waiter, Bruce, quickly whisked them back to the kitchen. After another twenty minutes or so, after seeing tables who arrived after us being served entrees, I asked Bruce if dinner would be coming soon. He condescendingly said “we have four dining rooms full of people so the kitchen is a bit busy right now but I submitted your order as soon as the appetizers were brought out”. Luckily, he must have mentioned it to Matthew, the manager on duty that day. Matthew arrived and said there had been a computer issue and our dinners had been affected (so, it wasn’t just the busy day that had caused the delay, Bruce). Matthew made us feel welcome at Sullivan’s and saved the experience for us. For the rest of the meal, Bruce was even chillier than before. He was clearly not having a good day but Matthew was. Matthew is why I’m giving a five Star rating and while we will be back for steaks next month.More infoSullivan's Steakhouse - TucsonPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown Tucson•4.5
- SSonjaTucson •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agoAbsolutely awesome. The meats are well seasoned, juicy and tender. The salad/ hot bar has a great variety and everything tasted very fresh. Our servers were excellent...attentive without being overbearing. I wish I'd left room for dessert, they looked sooo good, but I couldn't fit another bite after my meal. Will definitely go back. This was my husband's first time at a Brazilian steakhouse, said it was the best Thanksgiving dinner he'd ever had!More infoChurrasco de BrasilPrice: Expensive• Brazilian Steakhouse• Foothills•4.7
