Both filets had a lot of fat that you could not even get through leaving a lot of loss on a $40+ entree. They also did not have any flavor to them and they added blue cheese and a sauce over the top of it. Just not a good combination. One of us had the grouper and they said it was decent. Another person had a burrata salad and the meatball appetizer. The salad was really good. The meatballs were decent. The steaks were cooked to perfection and the baked Connecticut blue point oysters were so out of this world that we ordered a second one!If you’re looking for a more upscale experience in Siesta Keys then Ophelia’s will not dissapoint. We had to wait about five minutes longer than our reservation, no big deal considering how busy they were. Regardless, they brought over two glasses of champagne to apologize for the minor wait was really a surprise and not needed or expected. We ordered a few sushi rolls and they were delicious with the exception of one. We didn’t really care for it--our server notice we weren’t eating that one and asked if we liked it we said not our favorite. He took it away and brought back shrimp cocktail to teplace that dish... again not needed, very surprised and impressed! They certainly went above and beyond to make certain we had a great evening. The ambience there is a really nice, however, the noise level is pretty high. Next time, weather permitting, we will try to sit outside on one of the patios... overall, an excellent experience very impressed. Delicious food, great service. The clam chowder was excellent. We had 4 in our party and 2 ordered the grouper, 1 ordered the hogfish and the other ordered the mahi mahi. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency develop and were only 1/2 way through our meal. What we had tasted was good. I cannot say enough about the staff and patrons who rushed to our aid and called 911 for us. They are surely to be commended and we thank them for their assistance.
