Our only issue was that the one soup order came out before the appetizer. That is a little unusual for this restaurant. Mitchell's remains one of our favorite restaurants. We appreciated the manager making a point to stop by the table and check on us. It’s always a little loud, but you can still carry on a conversation. The tomato basil soup was excellent, as well as the Chicken Piccata. His sense of humor, his professionalism, his friendly demeanor provided the best service I’ve received out of all the times I’ve dined. What I did find that was disappointing, is how casual the dress code is. There was a time we would dress up to come dine. However I was noticing guests wearing jogging suits and gym shoes.
