Best Seafood Restaurants in Quail Hollow

Sea Grill had been on my list of places to try since they opened and they did not disappoint. We went last night on a Wednesday which is a great day and special to try out. We were sat downstairs which is small and very intimate. I almost felt I had to whisper in between the music. The restaurant is nicely decorated and saw an upstairs but can’t speak on that portion. The Wednesday special includes a three course meal for only $100. I believe his name was Tyler that was our waiter who was pleasant and had great suggestions when asked. My daughter ordered a Mango sunrise which is an entire sushi roll with shrimp tempura, we ordered the Branzino as the second course(this course is shared so have to decide together). She also needed with the cherry chocolate trifle. I hade the ceviche and crème brûlée for first and third course. I also have a lychee martini which was top tier and balanced. Everything was phenomenal. The Branzino with roasted vegetables and a caper lemon butter sauce was the star of the show. The presentation was nice, the staff took care in filleting the fish and deboning as well as serving. The fish and vegetables were seasoned to perfection. The service was also delicious. I tasted part of my daughter’s mango roll and that was tasty as well. I will say the only thing I did not care for was her trifle, it had a tart, so cream taste in the cream. I felt the service was a little slow for the amount of people there but everything else was so good, I could not take away a star. This place is located in the Epic Center. I parked in the attached parking garage and paid $12 for two hours. In conclusion, Wednesday is a great day for the special to try out. I will also return for brunch and dinner again.

It was the most delightful evening out with friends from the moment we walked in the door. Every single person that worked that was very friendly and accommodating throughout our lovely dinner. All of the food was exceptionally good and the banana foster for dessert was delectable. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place.

I had made reservations for two at 1:45 on Christmas Day but my plans fell through. I called to see if we could come at 11:45 and it would be 4 instead of two! There was absolutely no problem changing the reservation and we had a great time-Good friends and great food! Thank you! And Merry Christmas!

Just the 2 of us dined at Sullivas for Christmad lunch. We both ordered filet mignon steaks, which were delicious. These were the best steaks we’ve had in years. The asparagus was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also loved the loaded baked potato. Our reservation was at 12:15 and we were seated promptly. We were finished in an hour for our relaxing experience even though restaurant was packed. Checking out was quick and easy which does not happen in a lot of other Charlotte restaurants. The guy in the red jacket turned on the TV behind us to a pretty fireplace scene I was really glad there was no TVs showing sports or news channels.

Wonderful experience! The food, waitress, and other staff were amazing and so gracious when half our party was quite late. Thank you for a great Christmas Eve experience!
