It was my birthday and everyone went out of their way to wish me a happy birthday. Our server Bryan was excellent quick with service and getting anything we needed. The only issue was the restaurant had no hand wipes or finger bowls to clean your hands after eating a seafood tower appetizer. With small bathrooms, hand washing was not easy to gain access to. At this price point you don’t expect your hands to be sticky and engulfed in a seafood smell for the duration of your meal after ordering a $113 appetizer. They were out of handi-wipes according to the server. That should not happen at a restaurant charging this much. Will I return? They were one of the few restaurants open on Christmas Day so it was packed AND during the chiefs game. We sat outside on the upper deck and had a lovely view of a courtyard, surrounded by high rise condos, and a large canal that opened out onto the Sarasota Bay. I had the 8 oz filet mignon (extremely tender and flavorful). My husband had the blackened snapper and found it delicious as well. Everything we ordered was excellent (wedge salad, onion soup, whipped potatoes and chocolate peanut butter pie with Ethiopian French press coffee). My. Old Fashioned was very good as well. My husband ordered a non-alcoholic beer which they had run out of but someone ran to the store and got him one without delay. Brendan was our waiter and he couldn't have been more attentive.
