- SSheilaVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •95 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOverall our experience was really good. We encountered a glitch when checking in, they did not have that our reservation was for a birthday celebration. I had to bring it to their attention and immediately we were seated as VIP for the celebration.. There was also a party with children which were a bit over engertic but calmed down about 20 minutes to being seated. The parents were apologetic after they ate. Linda was our wait person and she provided excellent service to us and made sure our son was acknowledged for his big day. It has been a while being there but clearly a tourist attraction and dining pleasure.More infoMcCormick & Kuleto's Seafood RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Fisherman's Wharf•4.3
- GGaryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •35 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoSalt and Stone: A Consistent Culinary Gem Salt and Stone has become one of our go-to dining destinations, and for good reason. Over the years, they’ve maintained a level of excellence that never disappoints. Jose, who has served us several times, deserves special mention. His service is consistently prompt, professional, and filled with thoughtful suggestions that enhance the dining experience. During our most recent visit, we enjoyed the French Onion Soup, Steak Tartare, and a Pasta with Prawns. Each dish was outstanding. The hot dishes arrived at the perfect temperature—a detail we greatly appreciate. The Steak Tartare, complete with a raw egg yolk on top, was a standout. While not for everyone, the yolk added a luxurious touch that I particularly enjoyed. The bar is equally impressive. We treated ourselves to a perfectly executed Martini and a Manhattan on the rocks. Living in Wine Country, we cherish the occasional cocktail, and Salt and Stone delivers on that front as well. As spring approaches, the outdoor seating area becomes one of the most inviting spots in Sonoma County, combining great food with a beautiful setting. Salt and Stone continues to impress, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience.More infoSalt & StonePrice: Expensive• Californian• Kenwood•4.6
- CConnieVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAbsolutely fantastic! Our server was so attentive, just like waiters in every restaurant used to be in the old days. He seemed genuinely interested to engage with us, and he really cared about our ordering process and our enjoyment of the meal. LUCA went out of his way to make sure we had a most enjoyable time. After every interaction with him, he ended it with “thank you“. Very classy in my opinion. I loved it that without our really realizing it he would gently sweep away the crumbs that had accumulated on the table cloth. Our dessert wasn’t to our liking, even though he had suggested it, and he comped it for Us That is so great. The overall ambience is very tasteful the view of the Bay and the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge is stunning. I wish the hostesses had been a little cheerier …these young ladies they can’t even break a smile. Yes it is expensive, but the food is top-notch, absolute quality, and the service is stupendous. Five stars and two thumbs up!More infoWaterbarPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6

The staff was amazingly accommodating and considerate and interacted with our 7 month old throughout our meal. The Parkerhouse rolls were amazing per usual. Other standouts were the quail, deer Wellington, and the branzino.More infoAngler San FranciscoPrice: Very Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7
- BBSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoSkates on the Bay in Berkeley provided a delightful lunch experience today as I caught up with a dear friend. We started with the artichoke and crab dip, which was rich and creamy, featuring generous chunks of fresh crab. It was served warm with toasted baguette slices, making it perfect for sharing while we chatted. For my main course, I enjoyed the salmon sandwich, which was a true highlight. The salmon was flaky and moist, topped with creamy avocado and served on a toasted brioche bun. The presentation was impeccable, making it almost too pretty to eat! The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, with our server offering excellent recommendations. The restaurant's waterfront location provided stunning views of the San Francisco Bay, creating an inviting atmosphere for our leisurely lunch. Overall, my experience at Skates on the Bay was exceptional, combining fresh seafood, beautiful presentation, and attentive service—an ideal spot for enjoying great food with friends!More infoSkates on the BayPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Berkeley•4.6
