Best Seafood Restaurants in Garden Grove / Westminster

Roy's is indescribable! I don't say that about too many eateries but this one is the exception. We've been following this chain prior to Covid. Unfortunately, my Pasadena location didn't make it through the pandemic. However, Anaheim is nothing short of exceptional. Try anything! You are guaranteed to love it. But it you are a steak person like me, go with the filet mignon and mash. Be prepared to fall in love - it'll be inevitable.

Food, service, restaurant were all A+. However, if restaurants feature music (which I do applaud) it should match the atmosphere of the setting. There is a lot of noise in most public places. There is a reason for “background music”. It should enhance rather than add more noise. Please reconsider your choice of music to help create a more relaxed atmosphere.

We had our Thanksgiving steak here today! What an amazing experience. This isn’t our first time to Ruth’s Chris, and again, they have surpassed service expectations. It was a busy day at the restaurant, but nothing slipped by our wait staff. Our server Bao was amazing, he recommended items, checked on us just the right amount and made sure that all of our needs were met! His assistant Izzy, never let our water or bread go low, and took great care of us from the beginning. Izzy made sure Bread and water was on the table in no time flat…..ooohhh that warm bread is so good! We ordered cocktails, hubby got an Old Fashioned and I ordered the seasonal Pomegranate Martini. Both were great. Truth be told, mine was so good, I ordered a second with dinner! We started with appetizers (crab stuffed mushrooms -divine!) and soup for him, chopped salad for me. For the main course, Hubby had the Cowboy medium rare and said it was perfection, I had the filet medium with the blue cheese crust…heaven. On the side we ordered the au Gratin potatoes (Bao’s recommendation) and the Roasted Brussels everything was so good! The potatoes are heavenly and a nice change from the lobster Mac we normally have. We finished the night off sharing a crème brûlée with a cup of coffee for me and tea for him. Taking our “doggie bag” home to enjoy leftovers tomorrow. No way could we eat all that food in one sitting!

The service and ambience were terrific . They went out of their way to make my son feel special for his birthday. The food was not as good as expected for the price tag. The steak was exemplary as was the lava cake but the au gratin potatoes were undercooked and the creamed spinach was over seasoned . All and all a good place to visit

Our go-to place with our dear brothers/priests for it serves quality foods re:seafoods especially the seafood platter which is a must try.the staff are friendly and attentive.the noise serves as cushion for privacy.we will return again soon-before Christmas and next year.
