- JJonathanPhiladelphia County •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoDean and his team were highly welcoming, kind, courteous, and caring. Each and every employee had a joyous-type demeanor that made us feel happy to be there. The food was DELICIOUS! The fruit plate and coffee cake muffins to start were perfect; not too heavy and tasty... especially that honey and sumac yogurt! The main brunch courses exceeded expectations. As southerners who moved north, I cannot tell you how much we miss a good biscuit and some flavorful grits... they nailed both perfectly. My fried catfish was almost melting in my mouth. All around, a wonderful and elevated meal that was served by staff that genuinely cared; and experience that made us feel like we were home.More infoSeabirdPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• Wilmington•4.9

- BBethWashington, D.C. Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Dec 2024We had a great experience at the George. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the Cape Fear River. We started with 2 delicious appetizers (crab dip and tuna)- our party of 5 each ordered a different entree and we were all very pleased with our meals. The desserts were great as well. The service was perfect. Our waitress was timely, nice and attentive. I would definitely recommend it to others.More infoThe George on the RiverwalkPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Wilmington•4.7
- KKENNETHVIPCoastal North Carolina •38 reviews5.0Dined on 26 Dec 2024The grouper, Cajun Alfredo linguine with shrimp and scallops, and mahi-mahi all were plentiful and delicious. The she-crab soup and raw oysters also hit the spot. I myself enjoyed the tequila drink (Jack Frost), tasty and refreshing. Our server Jessica was a delight. We shall return!More infoHieronymus Seafood Restaurant & Oyster BarPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Wilmington•4.8
