It’s simple really, our calling card is sustainable Scottish seafood. Our name comes from the Gaelic word for fish. It’s a wee bit tricky to pronounce, but it’s no bother if guests don’t get it quite right. With delicious fresh produce served by our very own Head Chef, Sean Currie, you'll feel the energy in the way we go about things – our warm welcome, enthusiasm for what we do, and, of course, a splash of Glaswegian banter.Serving sustainable Scottish seafood is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why £1 on every bill goes to The Firth Forth Lobster Hatchery, who hatch, rear and release lobsters to ensure stocks remain plentiful for future generations. A great restaurant opposite the Theatre Royal in Glasgow. Evidently very popular, we had a lunch reservation and people were being turned away, even the bar area was full. We arrived a little early to meet friends and sat at the bar for a pre-lunch cocktail which were great. There was a seasonal lunch menu and a la carte, and spoiled for choice on both; lots of regional dishes and locally-sourced meat, fish and produce. A good selection of wines by the glass and of course a nice whisky list. We had a great time, and would go back in a heartbeat.

Love this place. Food is consistently good - Italian with a dash of wider Mediterranean - well-chosen and fairly priced wine list, and lovely friendly service.
