Lovely little place, lovely staff and the log fire was burning bright. Decorations looked beautiful. Food was lovely accept the chips were under cooked slightly and I had a hair stuck to my chips but they gave me some fresh ones. Overall lovely experience but they didn’t offer any discount or offer anything apart from fresh chips which I found a little dissatisfying but I’m sure this was a one off things happen.

Perfect ambience for our walking club’s Christmas meal; the menu was flexible & had plenty of choice for all and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the bread & butter pudding! The service was excellent, with care & attention and lovely banter; we were not rushed in any way & had plenty of time to relax & chat before, during & after our meal. Many thanks & we will be back!

Enjoyed our burger meal and thought the inclusion of a free drink made it very good value. The beer battered onion rings were very tasty too. Will visit again when in the area.
