- JJosephSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe went here two days in a row - It was THAT GOOD! We had a party of 8 the first day and went back with just 2 for a second time Wait staff was great both times. Portions are generous and staff is attentive. Variety is wide with something for every taste. Pizzas are incredibly fresh, crispy and loaded with toppings. Chicken was unbelievably moist with a crispy skin. Wine selection is considerable. Deserts are also wonderful! Ambience is comfortable, but active and the area is worth walking around. OUTSTANDING in every way. This will be my "goto" whenever I'm in the area.More infoRise Woodfire - San MateoPrice: Moderate• American• San Mateo•4.5
- JJulievipSan Francisco Bay Area •39 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe had early reservations at 5:15pm but got there even earlier but luckily they open at 4:30pm. We were promptly seated and Paul our amazing server brought us delicious crisp martinis and a yummy prawn cocktail. The dining room is tasteful and cozy. Our dinners were so good, prime rib cooked perfectly. The au gratin potato's and creamed spinach were very good. No baked potato's on the menu unfortunately and 2 options for salad, ceasar and mixed green with vinaigrette dressing but those were both yummy as well and the pear bread pudding with carmel sauce was scrumptious! Thanks for the recommendation Paul! We will definately be back!More infoPrime Rib at the GardenPrice: Very Expensive• Prime Rib• Walnut Creek•3.9
- JJennifervipSan Francisco Bay Area •12 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Sept 2024Beautiful patio dining, incredible staff. Manager super kind and professional. Our waiter Jean ? From Brazil was wonderful. Very good waiter, fun to talk to and very attentive. Bloody Mary was spicy and delicious. The food was so good. Eggs Benedict very good, loved it on the homemade biscuits, and with bacon a good touch. The side roasted potatoes and fresh fruit just kept on giving. Our daughter had the breakfast burrito, she loved it and she is picky. My husband enjoyed some ribs (as a side, he always has to try the ribs everywhere) and also had the stuffed Meyer lemon ricotta cheese pancakes, he said it all was delicious. I did have a bite of the pancakes and they were exceptional. Excellent experience. My husband and daughter had been in twice before and brought me to experience it too. We will be back so worth the time and money.More infoBounty Hunter - Walnut CreekPrice: Expensive• American• Walnut Creek•4.5
