- FFernandoNew York City •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoNestled in the heart of New York City, Mission Ceviche is a gastronomic gem that masterfully celebrates the vibrant flavors and artistry of Peruvian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you’re enveloped in an atmosphere of elegance and warmth. The decor is stunning—modern yet grounded in cultural authenticity, with lush greenery and golden accents that transport you to a tropical haven. The staff is equally enchanting, exuding charisma and passion. Their knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm for the dishes elevate the dining experience to an art form. Each interaction feels personal, ensuring that every guest feels like a cherished part of the Mission Ceviche family. The highlight, however, is the culinary experience itself. The food presentation is nothing short of spectacular—plates arrive at the table as vibrant works of art, almost too beautiful to eat. Each dish bursts with flavor, a harmonious blend of fresh ingredients and innovative techniques that showcase the depth of Peruvian gastronomy. While every dish is a triumph, the octopus ceviche is a masterpiece. Perfectly tender and infused with bold, tangy flavors, it strikes the ideal balance between tradition and modernity. The interplay of textures, from the tender octopus to the crisp accompaniments, makes it unforgettable—a dish worth returning for time and time again. Mission Ceviche is more than a restaurant; it’s an experience, a celebration of flavor, and a testament to the art of hospitality. This is a destination worthy of its place among the world’s finest. - KKathyVIPNew York City •61 reviews4.0Dined on 21 Dec 2024Close to perfect… a group of us were able to get a nice table, last minute, at Kantu after friends recommended it. The clean decor pulls off a modern and welcoming feel, but it was the attentive staff, great food and drinks that left us feeling like we need to go back. We shared empanadas and tostones, then enjoyed quality ceviche or fish soup - all yummy. A few rounds of pisco sours and sangria brought the tab to $90pp but without alcohol prices are reasonable for the fresh, high quality seafood we enjoyed. - FFFelipeFNew York City •8 reviews4.0Dined on 12 June 2024The food was borderline good to very good. The ceviche, anticohos, and lomo were very good. The jalea was mostly fried calamari and had very little fish and shrimp. the huaicaina sauce was mediocre and could use improvement. The pisco sours were good but could use more pisco. The service was great and the ambience in the back is comfortable and not too loud. I recommend this place overall.More infoWarique - WilliamsburgPrice: Moderate• Peruvian• Williamsburg•4.6
