- SSharivipNew York City •40 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAnyone looking for a perfect pre-theater meal, this is your place. The service was excellent (special nod to Jeanine who exceeded all expectations of what a server should be) and the host station staff were genuinely friendly and willing to seat me before my companion arrived, something I greatly appreciated. The menu was varied, the portions right-sized, the quality excellent and the ambiance upbeat without being too noisy. Two of us were able to share two appetizers and one entree and feel perfectly sated (and I was hungry!) and enjoy some conversation without screaming. The restaurant is also big enough that it looks like you can always find your way to a table or bar seat if you're looking for something last minute in the area. Also, don't miss the negroni choices - the bianco was delicious. So glad the Mermaid team decided to open this location!More infoMermaid Oyster Bar - Times SquarePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Theater District•4.6
