- JJaneCanberra •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe booked an early sitting at Il Toscano in Long Jetty so we could secure a table inside, out of the heat of the day. The staff were friendly, and the ambiance was great. It seemed like there was quite good noise dampening in the restaurant, as we could talk to each other easily without raising our voices, despite the radio playing some lovely music, and the other tables being full. It’s a restaurant experience we haven’t had in while, as we’re rather used to being drained or strained from attempting to be heard over the noise on the floor. The food was also superb. There was gluten-free pasta for me which was cooked to perfection, but everyone was raving about the regular pasta as well, and the fluffiness of the tiramisu (which is made in the restaurant). The cocktails were also quite nice, I very much enjoyed the Hugo Spritz.More infoIl Toscano Long JettyPrice: Moderate• Italian• Shelly Beach•4.8

- CChrisSydney •1 review4.0Dined on 20 Dec 2024Comparing as we recently returned from Italy and ate amazing food for four weeks. Found the food here to be lacking in seasoning. The pork and fennel sausage had little taste and didn’t stand out nor didn’t compliment the pasta. Likewise, the Aperol Spritz was not what we experienced in Italy or at other Italian restaurants here. Will be back though.More infoLa GioiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Erina•4.6
