Best Modern Australian Restaurants in Hunters Hill

Always a wonderful experience to sup at Theatre Bar at the End of the Wharf. We all enjoyed our pre-theatre lunch from the revamped menu.

Food is very tasty, and background or feeling is best restaurant. AlSo, guide who working in restaurant was so kind and nice. I will visit this restaurant if i travel australia once again.

It’s always a pleasure to eat at Grounds if the City in George St. Service is top notch and the food is tasty and enough options to keep you coming back.

Excellent local restaurant by the water. We were given the private room for our group of 11 which was a lovely surprise. Gordon, who looked after us on the day was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. He also contacted us beforehand and they were very accommodating. The food was all really good though a guest mentioned the lamb was a bit dry. The sizes of the mains were all very generous and we were all so full we couldn’t fit any dessert in. But we still had to try a couple to share. The decor of the place is modern and casual though a bit of soundproofing would help with the noise levels.
