Best Modern Australian Restaurants in Dandenong South

Very relaxing, this was the most I have seen my kids eat. My husband and I loved watching the view with the benefit of being inside. The portions were generous and there was a nice wine selection. We will go back. The service was perfect!

We enjoyed really delicious food at Donovan’s - we loved the specials, particularly the anchovies and kingfish crudo. The service was excellent, our waiter was super friendly and very attentive and our water was always topped up. I’d definitely recommend dining here, although the only challenge was that we were seated by the window facing the sun and it was uncomfortably warm as the lightweight blinds gave little shelter from the heat!

We had drinks here for my husband’s birthday. The service was great and all staff were attentive. We both ordered the scotch fillet steak which was very tender. The only thing that I could complain about was that the salad needed a bit more oomph. The watermelon sour cocktail was delicious 🍸

The choice of mains disappointed. Everything else was perfect
