Thomas Makris, from the Island of Skopelos, fell in love when he met Helen Babalos. They met at Orestes Greek restaurant in 1974, while on a Greek dancing tour of North America. Thisis a beautiful dining experience for a date night or anniversary or just a night out. The room is decorated with beautiful done nude photographs so be aware if your coming with children. The service was impeccable! We had the meatballs and they happily added a side of spaghetti to make it an entree . This dish was incredibly tasty. We also ordered by recommendation, the seafood spaghetti dish which I would order again. Two really delish dishes!!! We will be back!

Having been to PAUL takeaways at airports and train stations in France and a Paul sit down restaurant I was pleasantly surprised to see the PAUL experience not only replicated in Vancouver, but uplifted. The food was great, the hot chocolate was the traditional Parisian hot chocolate. Awesome. And of course, even though we had a lot to eat… On the way out, we had to grab a few pastries for the road.

First time here and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was warm and inviting - not too loud but a really great energy. The food was by far the best greek we have had in years - so flavourful! We live in the valley but will definitely be coming back to this gem!

Exceptional food and wonderful choices of beverages. The staff was great with the kids and could recognize when to check in with parents about drink options. Our server was excellent at recognizing when we needed more time, when we needed help, and who to talk to in order to minimize disruptions or interruptions. The meats and seafood were prepared to perfect finishes. Portions suggested were reasonable and the overall bill was actually quite reasonable for a meal of this calibre.
