Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Hinsdale

Thassos is a place where families go to have a nice weekend dinner, and so do dates, singles and friends. We made a reservation on Saturday morning on Opentable, and got a 5:30 reservation for 2 in a room that was pretty quiet, and we had the option to sit in a booth. Nice start! We have been here before with family and friends, so we decided just to pick several appetizers to sample more than just two entrees. Our picks--shared a greek salad to start, then ordered charbroiled sardines (great if you love fish), dolmades (stuffed grapevine leaves with minced meat and rice in light lemon sauce) and spanokopita (crispy baked phyllo with feta and spinach inside). Perfect amount of food for the two of us. I had a glass of wine and spouse had a soda. Bill before tax and tip was about $70. I would recommend dining early to avoid a noisy environment because Thassos does get busy after 6 pm.

It was such a great experience!! The food was awesome, the place was beautiful, our waiter John was also top notch! John made sure we were satisfied the whole time we were there. Definitely will be going back!!

Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day 2025 dinner at Prasino. The snowy Chicago weather meant it wasn’t overly crowded, making for a cozy and intimate experience. The ambiance was excellent, and while the entrée selection was somewhat limited, every dish was flavorful and well-prepared. Service was attentive and professional. Highly recommend for a date night or a business dinner!

Great food and very good service. While other reviews said that the prices were high, we found them reasonable based on the serving sizes. We had dinner for two nights. The alcohol pours could be a little more substantial but we were there for the authentic Greek experience. We will continue to make Mana our go to for Greek food.
