Best Latin American Spanish Restaurants in Lincolnwood

On a recent drive into the city, we stumbled upon a gem of a restaurant that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was breathtaking—warm, inviting, and beautifully designed. It felt like we had entered a place where every detail had been thoughtfully curated to create the perfect dining experience. The food? Incredible. Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and presented like a work of art. It was hands down some of the best food we've ever had. From the appetizers to the dessert, everything was cooked to perfection, and we couldn’t stop raving about each bite. The service was just as exceptional. Our server was not only attentive but so much fun to talk with, adding a personal touch to the evening that made the experience even more memorable. Everything about the night—from the food to the service to the atmosphere—was flawless. It was one of those nights where everything was a vibe, and we can’t wait to go back when we visit next.

Out favorite restaurant ever!! We go out of our way every time we are in Chicago to go to Maya. The nachos are our fav and the Pickana Margaritas are the absolute best!!

We had an incredible time with the food being the apex of our experience. The lamb melted apart and was a very large portion. The corn soup was so smooth we all ended up tasting it and our poor dining companion who ordered it got only half the bowl. The space was noisy in a comfortable way - we had no problems holding a conversation. Servers were attentive at the appropriate times and we never felt rushed. Absolutely will return.

Appetizers- Shrimp and the crab stuffed peppers were amazingly good! Also, branzino and short ribs were delicious as well. We didnt like the special drink, but besides that the food was great. Service was on point as well. The only thing we dont like about Libertad is you come away smelling like the you were in the kitchen, because in a way you are. Restaurant needs to find a way to keep the smoke from the kitchen out of the restaurant. Dinner was also very pricey. But we will definitely go back

The food is great, we were at an awkward time where our server took our order then clocked out. The next server never really took care of us our food was cold but it was not very busy. Never checked on us. The busboys were more attentive.
