Best Latin American Restaurants in Solana Beach

Food was good and drinks were great. I wish I knew the bar back’s name that assisted at the bar where we sat. He was very helpful and attentive to my wife and I throughout our visit. The Cadillac Margarita was good, however I think it’s a little over priced. That would be my only issue.

I am gluten free and they did a wonderful job even when dealing with a prefixed menu. Very good experience.

We got there on time and they are still getting ready for us but the hostess seat right away, our server started us with our drink and we decided to get the sangria to share. My wife is hungry so we didn't wait for her to get our drinks, we ask her if we can order our food and we started with the tamales and Yuquitas. The Yuquita is really good and the tamales comes with the salad. We ordered a bowl of soup for my wife but was told that they are not serving soup because of Valentines Day dinner so we went for the roasted beets salad for the wife, the roasted beets is really sweet. I went for the Lamb stew with rice and the spouse wants to try the seafood macho with Peruvian Fried rice and everything is really good and then we ended the dinner with a tiramisu for dessert, soo good. We were ask by the server if the music is too loud for us and we told it doesn't bother us. I told my wife that we been there before when it was called Secret but she don't remember. Definitely coming back.

The food was outstanding. I had the carne asada plate that was marinated nicely with flour tortillas, black beans, and rice. My husband had the shrimp skewers with rice that was very tasty too. We were impressed by the quality of the food. It’s a must try!

Excellent food and service. They used to be almost exclusively tacos, but they have now added some other items like burritos and enchiladas. All of the flavors are unique and delicious. I especially love the crispy cheese layer on a lot of the tacos. I wish they had more chicken tacos. My favorite taco now is the chicken al pastor. They have had a couple of chicken ones (even one just recently) and they were delicious.
