- JjuanataVIPChicago / Illinois •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat service, friendly staff, loved the decor, and ambiance. The food is best enjoyed family style and the cocktails were delicious! The salad was rich in color and taste. My personal favorites were the chive pancakes and jap chae! The spare ribs were very tender and packed with flavor. A bit smaller on the portion sizes but I left feeling quite full and satisfied!More infoMister TigerPrice: Expensive• Korean• West Town•4.8

- EELDARVIPChicago / Illinois •58 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoPERILLA Steakhouse delivers a refined and flavorful dining experience with a focus on high-quality ingredients and well-executed dishes. Starting off, the cold tasting plate was fresh and delicious, setting the tone for the meal with a balance of flavors and textures. It was a great way to begin, especially for those who appreciate lighter, well-prepared starters. For the main course, the Wagyu steakhouse set stood out as a highlight. The steak was cooked to perfection, showcasing the rich marbling and deep umami flavor that Wagyu is known for. The accompanying sides complemented the dish well, rounding out the experience. The roasted bone marrow set was good, but the toast served alongside was soaked with butter, making it a bit too heavy when paired with the already rich bone marrow. A simple grilled sourdough bread would have been a better choice, allowing the marrow’s natural flavors to shine without being overly fatty.More infoPERILLA steakhouse - RiverwalkPrice: Very Expensive• Korean• Downtown / Loop•4.6

- SScottVIPChicago / Illinois •98 reviews4.0Dined on 3 Jan 2025We go to Daebak often and things are usually very good, however tonight we took our friends from out of town and experienced very slow service. The restaurant was not very busy and seemed to have plenty of staff, however they seemed more concerned with cleaning instead of providing service to their customers. We had a reservation but was told they had to “prepare our table” and were finally seated. Once seated, we had to raise our hands to have our order taken, then again to request water, and then again to get our check. This is not our usual experience, but it’s very unfortunate that this happened when we recommended and brought new customers to Daebak.More infoDaebak Korean BBQ - ChinatownPrice: Expensive• All you can eat/Buffet• China Town•4.3
