Elevated Alpine CuisineThe menu philosophy behind our “elevated alpine cuisine” stems from all the places we’ve lived, worked, skied, and played around the world. While the flora and fauna remain the same in these regions above the 7000' elevation, the spices, techniques, and recipes vary. This diverse pantry is a delightful fusion of traditional alpine cuisine and modern culinary trends, offering dishes that tantalize the taste buds with a contemporary twist. Guests can savor classic fondue while enjoying views of the snow-capped mountains, complemented by a curated list of wine, spirits, and local beers. Alpinist is a captivating blend of old and new, making it the perfect destination for those seeking both a blast from the past and a view of the future in the heart of the mountains.

It was my first time to Blind Dog. It was my husband's second time. He had the meatloaf both times and loved it. It comes with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. He is not a fan of spinach so he should have asked for a vegetable substitute. I often have a hard time with restaurant menus because I am gluten free and minimize diary. I ordered the Mahi Mahi with coconut grits. It was one of the best dinners I have had out in a very long time. It was outstanding. The fish was perfectly cooked and was a nice size. I took my leftovers home, I loved it so much. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. Her name started with an M and she was from Vermont. She was great. We will definitely be going back again often this ski season. Can't wait.
