Best Japanese Restaurants in Scotch Plains

Everything was prepared & presented with excellence. From appetizer thru entree, the food & flavors were perfect. I was sold from the asparagus risotto, everything else, was over the top.

Our chef was sooo wonderful!! A great chef, a great conversationalist, and had a great sense of humor!!!

We enjoyed a wide variety of foods, starting with the spicy edamame with Peruvian corn which was outstanding. The snapper with the chimichurri sauce was a special and was outstanding. We did the sashimi and sushi plates and added on some rolls. We also had the miso black cod, which we would highly recommend.

First, the server (Emily?) was EXCELLENT in every way. Very efficient and pleasant. The food was great.. I loved my Kobe skewers. All 4 of us loved our food. It's a BYOB and the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was fine. I've been there many times and always enjoyed it. The menu is very varied and has a Sushi section. But there are a variety of all types of food.
