The service is exceptional, with Alden consistently going above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience every time we visit. Food was a solid A but the service ended very poorly. The waiter came with the check cover opened and after I paid he literally dumped the transaction receipt on the table and said “Merci” and left. I gave a 20% tip on a $350 bill so I dont understand the attitude at all…

Food and service was excellent! The oysters were highly recommended as an appetizer- the ones made with maple and jalapeño and miso gratin were the best! Grilled octopus was also delicious! For entrees, we had halibut (fish of the day), salmon and the black linguine-portions were just right and was some of the best seafood I had. Definitely recommend and I can’t wait to go back when in Montreal again.
