- KKateNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoMy husband lived in Japan for 10 years. He said it was the first time since then (24 years ago) that he’s had sushi he was excited about eating. Everything was amazing thank you so much for a great evening.More infoWokuniPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Murray Hill•4.8
- MMalaNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoThe atmosphere at Sozai was serene and charming, perfect for a quick business lunch or catch up with a friend. The menu is exceptionally appealing with sushi, ramen and kitchen entrees, with lunch special set deals as well. My friend and I tried the Hamachi don and the Spicy Tonkatsu ramen lunch specials, each of which came with a choice of miso soup or house salad. My friend enjoyed the soup and raved about the hamachi which was especially fresh and delicious. My ramen was delicious -- rich broth and spicy with delicious slices of meaty pork. I can't wait to go back.More infoSozai (Japanese Izakaya Ramen)Price: Expensive• Japanese• Rockefeller Center•4.6

- JJohnnyNew York City •3 reviews5.0Dined on 16 Nov 2024Cute and cozy ambiance with the dimmed amber lighting, decor, and miyazaki film playing behind the bar. Service was great, staff was friendly and fast. We ordered a bunch; we especially liked the okonomiyaki (pork here instead of octopus) and the rest of the apps/entrees were decent. We weren't too fond of the omusoba, it was sauced similarly to the okonomiyaki above but for this dish wasn't a good balance for us. The whiskey sodas were refreshing but on the weaker side. Overall would come back and recommend.More infoLucky CatPrice: Moderate• Izakaya• Midtown East•4.6
