Best Italian Restaurants in Ybor City

My boyfriend and I took my sister here because we heard this restaurant is amazing. It is better than amazing! Everything was so great and we really enjoyed the parm to table experience. The steak was cooked perfectly and the whipped potatoes were to die for. Definitely need to try this place if you haven’t!

We generally had a good meal. We started with burrata, then she had the hot honey pizza and I had the ravioli. The ravioli was the standout of the items we had, but all was good. Probably somewhere on a 7-8 out of 10 if I was to rate. The biggest downside is that the inside of the restaurant is extremely cramped. I felt like I could barely eat without elbowing the people at the table next to us, and trying to navigate between tables or past servers to get to the restroom is extremely difficult.

The meal and service exceeded expectations. Daniel gave us all the proper amount of attention. We had the salmon and Chilean sea bass. Both were prepared properly and were decent portions. The wedge salad was excellent and big enough to share. The oysters were good and came with the expected good choices of toppings, though the oysters were quite small and it wasn’t clear whether they came from Maine or Massachusetts. Wines by the glass options were somewhat limited, but offered good choices. We walked to the Straz for a show and left our car at the valet and were told the valet staff would be there until 11 pm. We were back to retrieve our vehicle by 10:50 but the valet staff were gone so we had to call the restaurant because doors were locked. A staff person came to our rescue and escorted us to the security desk to get our keys, a minor inconvenience. Overall a great experience and we plan to be back.

We loved our pasta dishes. Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled fantastic. Dessert of tiramisu wonderful, and definitely shareable. Waiter was late with our bread and had to ask for water refill, so not a 5.

We had a fabulous time at Flor Fina. We had a large group and they accommodated us beautifully. The food and drinks were amazing. We will definitely be returning!
