Best Italian Restaurants in Travelers Rest

We chose this restaurant for my husband’s birthday. We started with French Onion Soup and Lobster Bisque. The soup was good. The bisque was a little salty than I liked, but overall ok. We had the lasagna and fettuccine Alfredo which were both very good. We each had a glass of wine, which were both excellent. Dessert was delicious. Service was a little slow. Lightening was too dark.

Great professional service with a personal touch. We appreciate the seasonal changes in the menu. Recommend the Lombardy province of Italy's favorite, polenta. The Chef makes it just like in Bergamo, a Sister City to Greenville. Great for a special occasion or a quick evening bite at the bar.

Food was excellent. Service was slow due to pre show crowd. Excellent desserts!

This is a relatively upscale establishment and they take the customer experience to a higher level. Our server was awesome, great personality and full of energy. I think it was Keith or Kevin. The food was good, but I wouldn't say over the top. The potatoes and brussel sprouts were a great side dish. The black and blue topping on my steak was really good. Treated ourselves to a few old fashions with the smoke enhancement. Definitely a good visual and nicely flavored drink. A worthwhile visit.

Tried "Tavola Italian" tonight. I enjoyed it. The food was excellent, started with the Meatball appetizer. Soft and flavorful with a little heat mixed in. I could eat a whole dish of these and be happy but let's not stop there. Our entree was the Chicken Parmesan which was beautifully prepared and the Salsa Verde was a pleasant surprise. The Escarole and the Penne Pomodoro also very tasty. My only suggestion would be some fresh bread with some evoo and some Parmigiano would have been great. The Focacca is a bit too much other than that everything was excellent, food, service and ambience. Definitely will return.
