Best Italian Restaurants in Miller Place

I recently dined at Osteria Umbra, an Italian-inspired restaurant that promises an experience of rustic elegance combined with hearty, perfectly cooked meats. The ambiance strikes a wonderful balance between sophisticated and cozy: dim lighting, exposed brick, and antique wood paneling give the place a warm, inviting feel, while the flicker of candlelight on each table adds a romantic touch. There’s an Italian charm to the space, yet it still feels like a true Italian steakhouse in all the right ways.

Ragazzi never disappoints! The service is consistently great and friendly, the ambiance is cozy and chic, and the food is exceptional. The complimentary bread basket is divine, and the spicy calamari is hands-down the best I've ever had.

This was my first time dining here and I truly enjoyed every aspect of our dining experience. Justin was our waiter and was very attentive to our needs. He made excellent recommendations to start. For appetizers we started with baked clams, calamari, and the meatball. The baked clams were absolutely delicious. The peach blossom drink was a fan favorite at our table. The mulfadine pasta was a hit as well as the salmon, chicken parm, cacio e pepe, and the zucchini fritto! Justin was on top of our needs for refills and cocktails! The basil ice cream paired with the olive oil cake was a delicacy that was enjoyed throughout our table! A few tiramisu’s and cappuchinos and we were good to go! What a wonderful dining experience! We will be back!

Hands down the BEST restaurant in Port Jeff. Food, atmosphere and service. And of course the bread!

Excellent food great portions and great p ricing. The tuna tartare was outstanding this is one of our go to places never disappoints
