We had a nice light meal here. A few sharing plates between us. Everything was very nice and the ham was especially good. Also I was very impresssed with the DA VERO BIOLOGICO, DOC (NERO d'AVOLA) SICILY, which was one of the cheaper red wine options, but hit the spot.

I was looking for somewhere to take two American visitors and decided on this little Italian gem in Charlotte Place. We were warmly welcomed to our table and given a very enthusiastic introduction to the specialities available on the menu. I liked how the ingredients used by Via Emilia are from the Emilia Romagna region of Italy, and that they take great pride in the quality of their food. We had the meat platter for starters and after that we enjoyed sharing a variety of very tasty pasta dishes, accompanied by a good Sangiovese red wine. The tiramisu dessert was light and delicious. We had great service and all in all it was excellent value for money. We had a lovely evening and can thoroughly recommend this restaurant to others.
