- PPaulNew York City •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoStellina is not your typical crowded Long Island Italian eatery where people go to be seen. Instead, it's like a café in Italy. The ambiance is wonderful, and the staff is easy to talk to and incredibly accommodating, taking care of special requests without hesitation. The food is fantastic—from the salads and wood-fired oven pizzas to the homemade pastas, Zuppe di Pesce, and lasagna. Stellina is worth the drive to Oyster Bay and is a standout.More infoStellina RistorantePrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Oyster Bay•4.7
- MMichaelVIPNew York City •16 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoFood and service was very good. Had to wait 25 minutes for table to free up even though we had a reservation. Went to bar to have a drink, martinis. Not impressed with the experience. Only had 2 brand options, Tito's or Kettle One. Serving was rather ordinary, olives were rather ordinary, no blue cheese option, and very pricey for the end product ($22 each). Wine at dinner was good, though. But, will go back again, and omit the martinis.More infoGioiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Oyster Bay•4.6
- AAndrewVIPDallas - Fort Worth •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI recently celebrated a birthday at Plado in Glen Cove, and it was an incredible experience! The restaurant offers a unique tapas-style menu, allowing us to try a variety of dishes, and each one was outstanding. The steak and lamb were cooked to perfection, but the real standout for me was their cavoletti—an exceptional Brussels sprouts dish bursting with flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch, making the evening even more enjoyable. While it’s a bit of a drive from the south shore, Plado is absolutely worth the trip for a special occasion or a memorable night out. I can't recommend it enough!More infoPlado - Glen Cove, NYPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Glen Cove•4.5
