Best Italian Restaurants in Glasgow

I celebrated my 40th birthday yesterday and the waiter presented a menu that wished me a happy birthday from the manager. She soon followed up with complimentary glasses of champagne for me and my guests! The food was more of a culinary experience and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had in Delaware. The cocktails are prepared by mixologists/bartenders that know what they’re doing. We ordered espresso martinis and lemon drops. It was an amazing experience!

Our service and meal were excellent. Taverna is my go to place for a nice meal and atmosphere.

Post errands dinner with my wife since we were nearby and she felt like Italian food. Started with Caesar salads, and they were both fresh, crisp and tasty. For dinner my wife had Spaghetti Pomodoro and I had the Shrimp Risotto side dish scaled up to a dinner portion. Both pastas were perfectly cooked and the seasonings and flavors were outstanding! Clean plates all around. One thing we noticed is they changed their menu and added some new dishes, but also removed some. Specifically they removed the chopped salad, which was always delicious. Not sure why, especially since chopped salads are extremely popular now. Erin was our server and she did a great job! Always a great meal at this Brio! Can’t wait for our next visit!

We've been going to Capers almost every Sunday for the last several years. We sit on the beautiful, quiet, climate-contolled patio. We love all the waiters, but Rick is our favorite. My recent go-to menu items are the arugula salad and the lasagna (or Summer Corn Agnolotti in the summer). I'm hoping that they bring back Butternut Squash or Acorn Squash Agnolotti...YUM!

We are regulars at Caffe Gelatto because the food, service, and drinks are great. It was this time as well except for two changes in the menu. The gnocchi has been removed from the menu and the menu for salmon has been changed in the way it is cooked and added salsa topping. The salmon was not enjoyed at all. Change it back please.
