Best Italian Restaurants in Ellicott City

I really enjoyed date night here! Whoever they have playing the piano and singing on Friday nights is amazing. It really set the tone, and the service is top notch. I will definitely be back!

Christmas Day was made very special by Sotto Sopra. From the ambiance of this beautifully decorated 1850 building, to the wonderful staff, each with a smile to greet and serve you. But the food; that was the star of the day! The calamari was exceptional and definitely not you mama's calamari! It's a must have. And the goat cheese salad, amazing! The seafood pasta was loaded with lobster, crab and shrimp, and swirled in a luxurious sauce. The pork shank with risotto was very tasty and very filling. We ordered the the bread pudding and cheesecake to go as we were so full after our meal, and will have it this morning with our coffee. I just know both will be a great start to the day. Thanks to Sotto Sopra for making our Christmas day so special.

The food and service is always excellent at Maggiano’s! My parents and I come here every year for a meal together before Christmas, and it never disappoints. Our server was so kind and attentive as well. I also really appreciated that the bar could make any of the cocktails as mocktails since I don’t drink. 100/10 experience, as always. Thank you!
