I have never been to the downtown location under the Landry‘s group. I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was exceptional and well in accordance with what I have been used to in the glory days of the palm. The service was impeccable including the employees who helped with my elderly mother and her walker. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. The food was fabulous and dishes were made with imagination, for example the brussels sprout salad. Excellent.
